/FÌ-LO/
Project currently in development
/FÌ-LO/ is a choreographic and sonic project weaving together women’s stories across different times and places. Conceived as a choral narrative, the piece explores what it means to recognise oneself as a woman today through the intertwining of voices, bodies and memories.
Developed during a residency at Corte Ospitale in Rubiera, Italy (November 2024), the project emerged from three weeks of collective exploration through movement, listening and improvisation.
The sound environment combines pre-composed fragments with live performance using a metalophone, electromagnetic sensors, a hydrophone, and contact microphones placed on the dancers’ bodies. Subtle vibrations and bodily resonances are captured and amplified, transforming movement into sound and creating a porous dialogue between choreography and sonic material.
